Play Based Learning Programs
At Harrisfield we believe in Play Based Learning for all of our children. Fortnightly we modify, change and create new learning programs to suit the needs of the individual children in the group.

  Throughout the busy year we have many various
  activities, celebrations and programs
  that we participate in at our Kindergarten;For example;

• Harmony Day / Week
• Responsible Pet Ownership Program
• Monash Health Dental Checkups for all children
• Mother’s Day / Father’s Day / Special Person’s Day
• Various cultural celebrations – Easter, Christmas, Diwali,
  Eid, Ramadan etc
• Reptile Encounters Program
• Living Eggs – Chicken Hatching Program
• Excursions to various places in the community –
  Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve,  the local Post Box,
  the local shops, local parks, library
• Primary School visits / Transition/Orientation days
• EVOL Sports Program throughout the year (4 Year Old’s only)
• Melbourne Zoo Excursion (4 Year Old’s only)
• Myuna Farm Mobile Ark visit (3 Year Old’s only)
